Page thirty-three from 'Flora's Feast', the Cornflower and the Marigold
Two women, a blue cornflower and a yellow marigold, stand together as they prop up some wheat stalks. Both wear classical dresses and floral headdresses. In addition to this the figure of the marigold wears sandals and holds a sickle. The accompanying text reads:
"Their cousin from the corn in blue;
Corn Marigold of golden hue".
