A crane, shaped like a crane, and operated by a child with wings, lowers a book to another child in a boat. An owl is perched on the stern of the boat and an oversized quill rests in a jar of ink. Two small birds with bibs and baby heads hover above the scene. On the book are the words:
"To the
possessors of
"Baby's Opera"
and "Baby's Bouquet"
with
Walter Crane's
