Description
"Was blazen die Trompeten Moneten heraus?"
"Street German bands have been things of the past in London for many years, but they flourish in Holland, and the artist is here parodying a well-known German air, 'What are the Hussars; trumpets blaring forth?' The thee bandsmen are the Kaiser, Von Hindenburg, and Von Bethmann-Hollweg, who are striving to attract the German public to make further investments in a new war loan."
