Edinburgh Castle from the West End
Description
Edinburgh Castle sits on the Castle Rock overlooking Lothian Road. St. John's Church can be seen on the far left, whilst St. Cuthbert's stands in the middle. A graveyard with headstones is visible between both kirks. The edge of the Caledonian Hotel with a Union Jack flying outside is on the right-hand side. A parade makes its way up Lothian Road with musicians in highland dress, including bearskin hats and kilts. The pipers are playing bagpipes whilst other musicians are playing drums. The street they are marching along is lined with crowds. People on bicycles follow the parade and taxis, cars and a bus can also be seen.
