North end of Todrick's Wynd, now demolished
Description
A group of children have gathered around a woman who is operating a large decorative object. They are standing in a narrow street between tenement buildings in the Old Town of Edinburgh. A wooden panelled section of one building overhangs the alley. There is a sign on one of the properties which reads, 'J Alison, Chimney Sweep, 2 doors upstairs'.
