Description
A Still Life painting of objects upon a kitchen table. The objects sit on a black and white checked tablecloth as in the title. A group of breakfast items including a vase, a silver spoon, a jug and what seems to be an egg in a bowl. The angle of the objects gives the viewer a perspective from above. Looking down upon the objects a small portion of the carpeted floor can be seen. To the left of the painting is the arm of a wooden chair.
