High Kirk [St Giles Cathedral], ruins of buildings destroyed in Great Fire
St. Giles Cathedral rises majestically above the ruins of buildings destroyed by the 1824 Great Fire of Edinburgh. Three horses and carts are visible amongst the ruins, while men can be seen working. Two people stand on top of the ruins watching the scene.
