A horse and cart stands outside the Theatre Royal, Edinburgh. The building has an entrance porch supported by columns the top of which is surrounded by a stone balustrade. Lamps are positioned at intervals along the top of the porch. There is a triangular pediment with carvings on the roof. Boards with advertisements rest on the columns outside the theatre.
