Theatre Royal
A horse and cart stands outside the Theatre Royal, Edinburgh. The building has an entrance porch supported by columns the top of which is surrounded by a stone balustrade. Lamps are positioned at intervals along the top of the porch. Two statues stand in recesses on either side of the facade and the central portion has three large rectangular windows and three smaller arched windows above. There is a triangular pediment with carvings on the roof. Boards with advertisements rest on the columns outside the theatre.
