Title
Page three of 'How Tankerville Smith took a Country Cottage' from 'More "Graphic" Pictures' in 'Graphic Pictures' by Randolph Caldecott
Description
The young man, Tankerville Smith, stands in the centre of a room with his back to the viewer, holding his hat in his hands and looking out through an open glass door onto plants. Beside him, stands a woman in a yellow long flounced dress which is gathered up at the back. They stand on a large rug. To their right is a piano, and a young woman is sitting on a piano stool and leaning against the keyboard. There is a table and an armchair on the left of the picture, and on the walls are pictures, ornaments, and a mirror with two candles to light it.
There is a strip of text to the right of the picture, which reads "Mr Smith is taken round & sees the Drawing-room & Conservatory".
