Excerpt from page - " To be sold the lease of the lands of Meadowflatt and Dishieflatt lying tho the east of St Johns Hill along the south side of the Canongate. The subjects consists of a house and a lesser one adjoining at the bottom of the road facing Horse Wynd of the Canongate. A large garden to the south of the house and three parks or enclosures to the west. The garden consists of two acres enclosed with stone walls and the three parks contain ten acres of ground or thereby. Apply Anthony Barclay W.S. Edinburgh Evening Courant March 4 1790.
