Copy of a portrait photograph of a seated man in Victorian costume with a bullmastiff dog. The man wears a long jacket, waistcoat, pale coloured trousers and slip-on boots. He has a flower in the top buttonhole of his coat. His hair is slicked back and he has sideburns. He holds a lead attached to the dog's collar. The dog is seated and has clipped ears. Behind them, the backdrop of a painted room sits behind heavy curtains.
