The Wellington statue, Edinburgh, erected 18th June, 1852
Description
An engraving of the Wellington memorial statue sited at the east end of Princes Street, Edinburgh. Wellington is depicted on his horse Copenhagen, that he rode in the Battle of Waterloo. The monument is surrounded by metal railings and several groups of Victorian people are standing beside them admiring the statue. They include a soldier in uniform. A small dog also looks up towards the horse.
