The Victoria Swing Bridge to the right of this picture linked the Albert Dock to the Victoria Dock. It has since been replaced by a fixed bridge.
The barrels next to the ship in the foreground may have been used for whisky which was an important trade for Leith for much of the 20th century, with much of the blending and bottling of Scotch whisky being carried out there.
