Title
East Market Street
Description
A group of children stand at the far entrance to a covered market building in the Old Town of Edinburgh. The market's facade has a series of large arches which support the structure and are open to a steep ramp and walkway which gives access through to the far end of the building. A horse pulling a cart waits at the cobbled road at the foot of the arched entrance. Signs above the nearest arches read, 'Potato and Fruit Salesman' and 'Office and Salesroom Upstairs'. The market is surrounded by tall tenement blocks in various states of repair.
