St Mary's Roman Catholic Cathedral, Broughton Place, Edinburgh
Description
A view across a quiet cobbled road towards St Mary's Cathedral. The structure has a steeply pitched roof on the body of the church building and the porch entrance. There are four ornamental pinnacles rising from the gable-end.
The Cathedral is separated from the pavement by a wall with high railings on top of it and there are two gated entrances into the enclosure. A tall tree stands within the church grounds. A woman wearing a hat and coat and carrying bags walks down the pavement opposite the Cathedral.
