St.Magdalene's Chapel (or The Magdalen Chapel) was built in 1544 by Michael MacQueen. The chapel was later bequeathed to the Hammermen, a guild of metalworkers, who then decorated the space with their work. It has the only surviving pre-Reformation stained glass in Scotland left 'in situ'. It is now owned by the Scottish Reformation Society.
