Description
Stairs lead up to the entrance of Advocate's Close where a lamp is near the passageway though the close. There are tenement buildings all around. In front of a wall is a metal fence.

At some point before 1749, Advocate's Close was also known as Home's Close, most likely after John Hoome who was a Vintner, owner and resident of the close in 1635.
