Description
A Japanese man and a woman are on a wooden raft afloat on the sea. It is raining and the lady is using a large parasol to shelter the man who is sitting on the floor of the raft. She is holding a pipe in her other hand. The woman is wearing an ornate kimono, many hair ornaments and high geta shoes. The man also wears an elaborate kimono, geta shoes and a straw cape. He has two swords tucked in to his belt and he is holding a pole. On the raft a fire burns in a box, sending a plume of smoke rising in to the air.
