Description
A ceremony taking place in the Gurdwara or Sikh Temple in Mill Lane, Leith. The Granthi wears a yellow turban and is waving a churi over the scriptures that are laid in front of him. He is standing under a palki or canopy that is topped off with a gold dome and lights. The palki is decorated with vases of flowers and gold embroidered material. Two people are bowing in front of the palki. Behind the canopy are arched glass windows.
