Within an ogee arch is a stone carving of a crown which makes up part of the doorway of the Duke of Gordon's house in the Lawnmarket, Edinburgh. To the side a woman looks upwards.

Boswell's Court was named after Dr Boswell, a resident in the late eighteenth century, whose nephew James Boswell was Samuel Johnson's biographer.
Castlehill is the section of the Royal Mile running from Castle Esplanade to the Lawnmarket in Edinburgh.
