Title
138 - 142, Canongate, proposed to be reconstructed
Description
On the Canongate, which forms part of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, there are buildings on one side of a cobblestone road. These consist of houses on the uppermost part and shops and a pub on the lower. One of the shops is a sweet shop; this is next to the trade premises of Andrew Slater whose sign informs us he is a contractor and slater, which is in turn next to the public house of David Murray.
