Children in Collins Place/ Balmoral Place, Stockbridge Colonies
Edwardian children stand on either side of the road at Collins Place/Balmoral Place in the Stockbridge colonies, Edinburgh. They are all staring intently towards the camera. The road is cobbled and low walls with metal railings separate the houses from the street. Gas street lamps stand on the pavements. The girls are mostly wearing pinafores and some have straw hats on. Many of the boys are wearing flat caps, plus fours and Eton collared shirts.
