Netherbow Port from the East, 1764
A busy street scene filled with men, women and children. An archway with a portcullis gate leads through the Netherbow Port. The structure has two towers with spires and a large central clock tower with a weathervane. In front of the gate there are horse-drawn carriages with passengers. One of the carriage drivers is carrying a whip. A flag with a horse motif hangs outside one of the buildings.
