Description
In this busy street scene filled with people horses and carts are being lead to the Weigh House. The arched entrance way to the Weigh House has carvings above it. There are stairs to the side, the steps have a handrail to the side. Soldiers are marching in formation through the street. The soldiers are carrying rifles with bayonettes attached to them. At the front are two soldiers on horseback holding the reins of the horses. A drummer is marching beside the soldiers. Men, women and children are watching the parade. There are tenement buildings in the background with smoke rising from their chimneys.
