Vallance's Entry - South side of Canongate above Queensberry House
Description
A view looking through a stone archway towards houses in the Old Town of Edinburgh. A woman stands with two children at the bottom of steps which lead up to a first floor entrance. Another woman holding a child stands at the top of the flight of steps. Washing hangs from laundry poles and windows around the enclosed area.
The artist has drawn gridlines on the paper which are visible underneath the drawing.
