Description
An advertisement for The Royal Patent Gymnasium featuring an etching of the site at the top and a full description of attractions underneath it. The etching shows that most of Royal Crescent Park is covered by a large circular water-filled pool with small piers around it and a central island with a fountain (Great Sea Serpent Patent Rotary Boat). Another pond can be seen to the left of this on which people are canoeing. In the background there are merry-go-rounds; pendulum swings and sea-saws. A small rectangular building can be seen in the foreground to the left of which a banner flutters with the words "All in full sail and full swing" can be seen. Trees and bushes surround the site.
