Description
One natural linen banner for the Anti-Vivisection Society of Aberdeenshire. The banner is painted on one side. The banner has a linen lining. The banner title scrolls reads, 'ABERDEENSHIRE', the motto scroll reads, 'THE FIRMEST FRIEND /THE FIRST TO WELCOME FOREMOST TO DEFEND /WHOSE HONEST HEART IS STILL HIS MASTER'S OWN /WHO LABOURS FIGHTS LIVES BREATHES FOR HIM ALONE'. The banner is painted in the centre panel with the image of a collie dog lying down, the border consists of two thistles, one up each side, with three more intertwined at bottom centre.
