Edinburgh from the villa of Lixmount on the road from Leith to Trinity

Lixmount House was a late 18th century home situated in the Trinity area of Edinburgh. The house no longer exists but late 19th century housing developments in its estate, for example Lixmount Gardens, still carry its name.

Trinity is an area of Edinburgh situated immediately to the west of Newhaven.
