Bertrams Limited was a papermaking machinery engineers in Sciennes, Edinburgh. It was founded in 1821 by brothers George and William Bertram. Bertrams was very much a family orientated company, producing it's own Bertram Family Magazine which featured articles on their sports clubs, social activities and employee news. The company closed in 1985 mainly as a result of foreign competition and recession in the paper industry.
