Title
Coronation decorations for Royal Visit of George VI and Queen Elizabeth, Princes Street
Description
Large crowds have gathered at the edges of Princes Street to watch a procession. Two trams are travelling along Princes Street at the junction with The Mound. A decorated column has been erected beside the Royal Scottish Academy building. A group of people wearing the same fancy dress costumes stand in the wide road. They are wearing wide brimmed white hats and the costume gives the impression that they are riding horses. A man wearing a cap stands in the foreground and has turned to watch the action.
