The Opening Concert programme contains a description of Andrew Usher's gift to the city, a description of the Hall and its ornamentation and then a programme of the evening's recital including music and a list of musicians who played in the orchestra.
At the back of this programme is inserted the programme of the 50th anniversary concert which took place at the Usher Hall on Friday March 6th, 1964.
