The Mecca Bingo Hall on Fountainbridge, Edinburgh, closed in 2006. The building previously served as a dance hall. It was known as the Palais de Danse and was open from the 1920's to the 1960's.

The Lochrin Square development was carried out by Michael Laird Architects and completed in 2007. The development incorporates the former Scotmid headquarters and comprises both office and retail space. It is situated at the corner of Fountainbridge and Gardner's Crescent, close to the Edinburgh terminus of the Union Canal.
