An aerial view looking straight down on the mouth of the River Almond as it flows into the Firth of Forth. There are boats on the water and the pedestrian tidal causeway is visible at the end of the wall breakwater.

Originally a separate village, Cramond is now a suburb in the north west of Edinburgh. Set alongside the beautiful Almond Valley it retains a picturesque, village-like feel. Cramond Harbour at the mouth of the Almond is a popular location for recreational sailing.
