Fernielaw House
Description
A large, two story house dominates the image. It has large windows to the front of the house and attic windows protruding from its roof. A rounded vestibule area stands at the centre of the front facing wall. A man in a black suit stands at the front doorway. The house is covered by a thick layer of ivy. Attached to the gable wall closest to the photographer is a structure with a sloping, tiled roof. A large tree almost as tall as the house itself stands at the opposite gable end of the house in the background of the photo.
