Description
Three children wait in the street in front of a row of tumbledown houses. Two of the children are barefoot and the smallest holds a large jug. Beside them, a woman holds a tray of goods and stands next to another basket of produce which is placed on the ground. The houses are of different heights and there is washing strung outside one of the upstairs windows.
