Description

The view of the east end of Princes Street Edinburgh as seen from the top of the Scott Monument. The shops mostly have white awnings in front of them and a large lamppost is set in the middle of the road at the junction with Waverley Bridge. The recessed Waverley Market can be seen on the right in front of the buildings of the North Bridge. The monuments of Calton Hill can be seen against the skyline.
