Grange Hill was a British television programme aimed at children and teenagers. Conceived by writer Phil Redmond, Grange Hill first aired in 1978. The show focused on a fictional school in London and highlighted the issues and problems facing young people. Themes such as drugs, bullying, teenage pregnancy and love featured heavily in the show.
