Title
Beds for tuberculosis patients at Colinton Mains Pavilion Hospital, 1928
Description
The narrow ward is lined with metal-framed beds on one side. The beds are made with blankets and a couple of pillows. A nurse stands in the midst of the row of beds, and another at the end. The nurses wear uniform with white aprons and caps. Most of the beds are empty, but patients lie on some. Between each bed is a window and lamps are attached to the walls above each bed. Opposite the beds are windows that run the length of the ward. A row of lampshades hang on the ceiling.
