Description
A photograph of the West End of Princes Street decorated for the visit of King Edward and Queen Alexandra in 1903. A ceremonial arch has been built across the width of Princes Street and it is decorated with floral garlands and flags. St. John's Church can be seen to the right-hand side and shops to the left. Tramlines leading up to Lothian Road can be seen on the road and policemen appear to be standing in the middle of the street.
