An exterior photograph of Robert Frost, house furnisher at 67-73 Shandwick Place, Edinburgh. Two columns support the entrance to the store and large glass picture windows make up the rest of the shop frontage. In the windows are displays of fabric, rugs, cushions and curtains. The word "Frosts" is written over the entrance. On the first floor of the building is Balmain's Photographic Studio. The name Balmain is written on all the windows and there is a large advertising plaque in between the windows.
