Description

A large crowd has gathered around a wooded St Andrew Square to celebrate the marriage of the Prince of Wales. St Andrew Square is illuminated, as are the monuments on Calton Hill. Salisbury Crags is lit with torches and there is a large bonfire at the top of Arthur's Seat.

St Andrew Square is located at the west end of George Street. It is home to the head office of the Royal Bank of Scotland. The Melville Monument, built in memory of Henry Dundas, stands in its centre. Edinburgh's main bus terminus is located on its east side.
