Height measurement taken between points of greatest depth. Note top left which has section cut out.
Holyrood Abbey stands next to Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh. The Abbey was founded by David I in 1128, several hundred years before Holyrood Palace. The Abbey was badly damaged during the Reformation. It was finally abandoned in 1768 after the roof collapsed.
