South west portion of the Church of St.Giles, called the Auld Kirk
Description
A minister is delivering his sermon to a large congregation. The minister is standing on a raised pulpit. The congregation are sitting in pews, some of which are raised and stand on columns. There is a large vaulted ceiling. In a corner sit four people, three women and a man. They sit beside a tomb which has the inscription " Regent Murray's Monument". Above the inscription is a stone carving with a pattern and heraldic design.
