Clerk Street - general view of west side, looking south from St Patrick Square
Description
On either side of the road through Clerk Street in Edinburgh are tenement buildings and shops. The road has tramlines along it and on one side a post box, street lights follow the road. The buildings have tall chimney pots on their stacks.

Clerk Street is a section of the A7 which runs from the east end of Princes Street south-east out of Edinburgh. The Clerk Street section continues south from Nicolson Street.
St Patrick Square is situated in the south of Edinburgh, between Nicolson Street and Buccleuch Street.
