Earl Grey Street - looking north from Brougham Street, showing the Central Halls
Description
Shops have canopies out and over their front windows in Earl Grey Street in Edinburgh. The shops are on the street level of tenement buildings on either side of a cobblestone road. The building in the centre of the picture is the Methodist Central Hall which has a cupola roof.

Tollcross is an area in the south-west of central Edinburgh. It centres around the crossroads of Brougham Street, Home Street, Earl Grey
Street and Lauriston Place and West Tollcross.
