Description
A busy street scene at the bottom of Leith Walk in Edinburgh where an artist, surrounded by a crowd, is at work beside an ornate street lamp. Making its way along a cobblestone road is a horse-drawn tram filled with passengers and with advertising hoardings attached to its side. There are shops, most noticeable is that of George Marr and his fruit and sweet shop with its window displays. Pedestrians are all around where they can be seen talking and walking.
