One notice printed on thick card with string with which to hang it. Text reads "Your turn for under passage". Used in communal stairs where a cleaning rota was in place for communal spaces.

The sign was displayed in a tenement stair in Edinburgh to remind each neighbour that it was their day for cleaning the ‘under passage’ at the bottom of the building. Today, such tasks are often handed over to professional cleaners while householders work outside of the home.
