Studio photograph of 3 boys and a baby
Description
Studio photograph of 3 boys and a baby. Sepia cabinet print depicting 3 boys aged about 5,4,2 and a baby aged about 1 year old. The two older boys are wearing dark 'Norfolk' jackets, with wide fold down collars and a bow at the neck, knee-length breeches stockings and brogues. The younger boy has a white sailor suit top, knee length shorts, socks and shoes with double straps. The baby, which is seated on a cushion on the right has a white pinafore, a dark puffed sleeved dress and a tartan sash at its waist. The baby is seated on a large cushion raised up on a fur covered stand. There is a painted backdrop of a balustrade and foliage. The 3 older boys are all standing. The photograph is on a green card mount with the photographers name printed in gold at the base 'Pettigrew & Amos, LEITH'.
