Description
One Loyal Orange Order banner for the Pride Of Midlothian Lodge, Edinburgh. The banner has painted decoration on both sides. The title scroll cartouche reads, 'PRIDE OF MIDLOTHIAN L.O.L. NO 160 EDINBURGH'. The banner's mantling is white and gold and black, with animal heads, and a book, ladder, star and snake on a stick in the scrollwork. The centre roundel includes a picture of King William II of Scotland and III of England, on horseback in points of the star are a dove, and the words AUGHRIM, DERRY, BOYNE, ENNISKILLEN. The motto scroll around inner roundel reads, 'IN GLORIOUS, PIOUS, AND IMMORTAL MEMORY'.
